WE THINK LONG-TERM, IN DECADES

Our Executive Director, Roland Lugos decided as a child already that he was going to deal with solar panels, when he first saw solar panels installed on a satellite, illustrated on the cover of a nonfinction book called The Atlas of Stars and Planets. Today, as an expert of the topic, he works for the promotion of the utilization of renewable energy and for the propagation of sustainable investments based on economy, together with the Optimum Solar team.

Energy investments mean long-term cooperations, so trust is of key importance for the company.

It is important for us that beyond our work, we support appropriate values, and we consider social responsibility and promotion of local value preservation to be essential. We believe that we can achieve our goals more easily by collaboration, so we support several local associations and organizations.

We take steps both on a regional and national level to call attention to the importance of environmental protection and to the benefits of solar power systems utilizing renewable energy.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

BESIDES SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, OUR GOAL IS THE PROMOTION OF DEVELOPMENTS IN ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Besides environmental protection, we proclaim the importance of renewable energy in a determined manner. We continuously work on the design and implementation of renewable energy production in Hungary. It is important to us that we leave an appropriate attitude and systems behind for our successors. Our goal is to promote the propagation of solar power systems and electromobility, and to implement and maintain them through quality work!

At the 2015 Sustainability Summit of Hungary, the recognition for the third place of Ozone Green Award, founded by OzoneNetwork, the most viewed community TV channel of Hungary, was awarded to us.

GUIDELINES FOR INNOVATION

WE ARE AT THE FOREFRONT OF SOLAR ENERGY UTILIZATION.

We continuously research and develop new tools, technologies and procedures promoting the increase of energy efficiency. One of the fundamental pillars of our strategy is that we offer the most efficient, environmentally friendly and economically substantiated solutions of the market for our Clients.

WE ALSO UTILIZE RENEWABLE ENERGY.

At Optimum Solar, we believe that we create values through our work and that the utilization of renewable energy is outstanding not only from the aspect of environmental protection, but is also a good investment and can ensure energy supply on the long-term. It was this vision, which served as the basis of the establishment of our center of 700 m² in Baja, which meets the highest levels of modern requirements. The walls, operated with heat pumps and our office and warehouse buildings fitted with ceiling heating and cooling were handed over in 2015 and we produce the energy needs of these on site. Part of the solar power system of a total performance of 43 kWp is installed on the roof of our assembly hall, in addition to which two high-performance solar power systems installed onto a so-called rotating structure cover the electricity need of the building.

The installed solar power systems produce an annual power of 55,000 kWh, resulting in reducing CO₂-pollution by 38,000 kg each year.

When designing our site, we planned to use sun tunnels to illuminate certain rooms.

Besides being an environmentally friendly solution, sun tunnels decrease maintenance costs as they supply buildings with natural light.

We considered it to be important that we replace vegetation removed during construction, so we planted 11 fruit trees and an additional 25 trees of other types on site.
